teachnlearn
Every heard of or experimented with using a candle or canning paraffin and waxing the blade. IE running the blade and pushing a little wax into it to coat as a lubricant? RJF lawson56 and OCtoolguy

JimErn
I use a bar of soap, let the moving blade cut a short bit Do the same thing for wood screws too. OCtoolguy

Scrappile
HA! For screws I use a wax toilet gasket, works great! Recently I tried the "rounding" the back of the blade thing and I really didn't notice any difference. Maybe because I never use a very big blade.
