Popular Post Rockytime
A common occurrence with some of us old folks. This pattern by Blaughn in the pattern library was posted here by someone else. I really liked the pattern and tried cutting it from the bottom of a serving tray which I think is 1/2" Poplar. I lost a bridge at the top which I caught and could have glued. The "V" was the flatulence part. Have no idea what was going on there. I re-cut the pattern from 3/4" hardwood. Don't know what kind. In the upper right I ran into a nasty knot in back of the material I had not planned on. I rarely post what I have cut but I'm bored today. Oh well. spotsdad, Hermit, RabidAlien and 12 others
GPscroller
Turned out really well Les. At one time or another I am sure the same thing has happened to us all, part of the "fun". lol Jeff Rockytime

Charlie E
Nice job. Cool font on Redeemer. There was recently a flatulence occurrence in my shop that registered a 4.5 on the rectum scale! RabidAlien
Oh, if I had a dollar for every " was I thinking?!?" moment....I'd have a lot of dollars. Love the "Jenius at Work" one, as well! Rockytime
meflick
I like them both. Really like the Redemeer one. You need to get bored more and share more of your work. Rockytime

Fab4
Hi Les: Just an observation here, but if the wood grain would be going the other way I think these pieces may have survived I know sometimes we don't have much choice, Just a thought Fab4

Rob
Such beautiful sharp cutting Les, it would be a shame to waste it. Could you somehow save the word Redeemer and use it again somehow? You've got nothing to lose. Rob
heppnerguy
I always like to remember that scrolling is an ever learning process. Just about the time you think you have everything figured out, something happens to make you understand you don't. I guess that is the kind of lesson that God shows us now and then when we are trying to do everything on our own and are ignoring Him. The plaque turned our really beautiful. I still have that one on my to do list Dick heppnerguy
wombatie
It gives you extra practice when you have to cut something twice even though you weren't going to. It's happened to all of us. Looked good in the end, well done. Marg
