Hi Les:
Just an observation here, but if the wood grain would be going the other way I think these pieces may have survived
I know sometimes we don't have much choice,

You are right but it happened to dimensional lumber.

Such beautiful sharp cutting Les, it would be a shame to waste it.  Could you somehow save the word Redeemer and  use it again somehow?  You've got nothing to lose.

I always like to remember that scrolling is an ever learning process. Just about the time you think you have everything figured out, something happens to make you understand you don't. I guess that is the kind of lesson that God shows us now and then when we are trying to do everything on our own and are ignoring Him. The plaque turned our really beautiful. I still have that one on my to do list

It gives you extra practice when you have to cut something twice  ;) even though you weren't going to.  It's happened to all of us.  Looked good in the end, well done.
