Popular Post bcdennis Posted March 11, 2019 Popular Post Report Posted March 11, 2019 Just showing the difference of the untreated and treated Cedar. I love the dark red color it brings out. I am working on a series of these out of Cedar, Walnut, Red Oak and Poplar. I will post an overall picture when I am done. New Guy, spotsdad, amazingkevin and 11 others 13 1 Quote

rjR Posted March 11, 2019 Report Posted March 11, 2019 Very nicely crafted! I also like cedar of all kinds. Quote
penquin Posted March 11, 2019 Report Posted March 11, 2019 Beautiful, they came out great. Thanks for showing them to us. jim Quote
heppnerguy Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 Very nice pieces. I used to get a lot of free, kiln dried cedar from my son who uses it to manufacture custom garage doors for his customers. Since I now live in Arizona instead of Oregon, I no longer have that luxury. I also enjoy making fret crosses but I do not remember seeing this pattern anywhere. It looks like a Sue Mey pattern to me. Dick heppnerguy Quote
