Popular Post Hawk
I found myself in need of a clock in my "home office", so after some searching I found just the pattern at the Wooden Teddy Bear. It's a Sue Met pattern "Golf Wall Clock". Armed with that I now needed to figure out what wood to use. A few months back we had an oversized chair that had some serious wear and tearing. Instead of dragging it to the curb I decided to take it to the garage and take it apart. The material came off quite easily exposing some promising wood. Took about a week to get it completely taken apart, I separated the wood into 2 piles. 1 for the burn pile and the other for possible projects. About 20% of the wood had potential. Gathered up enough to get 7 pieces an inch and a half wide and about 11 inches long. Ran them thru the joiner to square the edges then glue them together then thru the thickness planner. Ended up with a rather nice looking blank. So in the future I'll be taking furniture apart before tossing it to the curb. I ended up with a nice clock for my "Golf" theme office area... I did make a couple of modifications to personalized the clock for me. Chris Scrolling Steve, MTCowpoke22, spotsdad and 7 others
Scrappile
Very nice job. Not a golfer myself but can see that would be well received by golfers. You ought to make one and sell it to a local golf club. Bet you would get requests to sell more.
