The last picture is a cross stitch frame she brought. It was a fun project to figure out how to make all the parts. Stained golden oak. I look at all the many pieces you cut and then ended up with what appears to be a rather small project, which of course it can not be. I know it is just my ignorance of what this is all about. Has me baffled I have to admit. Obviously, I do not understand cross stitching frames. Never knew they had such a thing. The nuts on the threaded rods are used to tighten the material. The rods go into a hole a little bigger than the rod. The threaded rods have a flat end that does into a hole in the square end of the big dowel. The 3/8” dowels slide into the dovetail trapping the material between the two dowels. Since I have never been exposed to cross stitching and you showed so much wood, I just could not figure it out. Now I understand. Thank you for taking the time to explain it to me. You should have been in on the conversation with my sister and me when she was trying to tell me what she wanted an how it works lol. Had her bring one that she got from factory so I could copy it.
