alexfox Posted March 12, 2019 Report Posted March 12, 2019 I found this video of my assembling of Imperial Tower at old CD, it is the most difficult scroll saw project I had ever made 4mm plywood, glossy varnish, I dont remember which blade I used - it was about 5 years ago jollyred, frankorona and amazingkevin 3 Quote
Bill WIlson Posted March 12, 2019 Report Posted March 12, 2019 Excellent! That's a lot of tabs & slots. How many times did you test fit that before final assembly? Quote
Rockytime Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 Wonderful! I did learn one thing. I'll not be making one anytime soon. Scrolling Steve and amazingkevin 2 Quote
heppnerguy Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 My hat is off to you, Alex. This proves that you are an even better scroller then I imagined. I love trying fret patterns that that one looks rather scary to me. The most difficult cuts are the ones made in that thin of wood, at least for me. You left me with my mouth open in awe. What a beautiful clock and magnificent workmanship. Dick heppnerguy Quote
Scrappile Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 My hats off to you. That is some precision scrolling to say the least. All those straight lines, thin wood, no way you can make it much harder. Thanks for posting. Quote
amazingkevin Posted March 14, 2019 Report Posted March 14, 2019 I would hold my breath on every cut!!! Quote
alexfox Posted March 16, 2019 Author Report Posted March 16, 2019 Thanks everyone, it was interesting project, but I am sure that I will not make it one more time Quote
