WayneMahler
Found this video on YouTube. I follow this guy as he does everything by hand. Modern day wood wright type of guy. Here he restores an old pedal driven scroll saw. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. https://youtu.be/FflO50fTr1I Edited March 16, 2019 by WayneMahler OCtoolguy, bobscroll and Dave Monk 2
OCtoolguy
Thanks Wayne. I love this stuff too. I watch a lot of videos on anything steam driven and I love watching lumber mills in action too.

OCtoolguy
It really does make a person appreciate the modern saws that we are all using. I'd hate to have to sit and pedal to get things cut. But, at the same time, I do love seeing how the people used to do the wonderful things they did with so little in the way of tools and equipment. teachnlearn
You have inspired me to mix two fields! They charge a hefty fee for physical fitness centers and they charge to rent tools. I'm going to set up a woodshop with bicycles connected to woodworking machinery. Tablesaw, joiner, planer, drill press, scroll saw, lathe, ..... I'm going to charge for people to exercise on the bicycles and charge woodworkers to rent the machines! Ahh, I can see it now $$$$$.
