Popular Post Foxfold Posted March 17, 2019 Popular Post Report Posted March 17, 2019 A little while ago @heppnerguy did a beautiful cutting of a plane, however, the font that he used amazed me. I couldn't find it anywhere. However, Dick was kind enough to let me know where I could get it from. So today I tried it. bobscroll, John B, frankorona and 9 others 12 Quote

RabidAlien Posted March 18, 2019 Report Posted March 18, 2019 My Dad was career Air Force, and for the longest time I couldn't read the huge building numbers painted on each building, because they used these fonts. It wasn't until I was about 7 or 8 that it clicked for me. Before that, I thought they were alien symbols! heppnerguy, jbrowning, Foxfold and 3 others 1 5 Quote

wombatie Posted March 19, 2019 Report Posted March 19, 2019 It is an unusual font but I don't think it will be unusual for long. Your sign looks terrific Brenda, excellent lettering. Marg Quote

Mmm, couldn't get a good photo of it all that actually showed what I cut, but here's part of it (the last 3 letters -OLD) and a photo of the pattern I used. I painted the backer black and that's what creates the effect. If you just look at the 'wood' that seems to help. Edited March 19, 2019 by Foxfold meflick and amazingkevin 2 Quote
