Clock Insert With Alarm??

I've searched high and low for a clock.. preferably a 2" or less with an alarm feature on it.. I have a customer that bought a clock from me saying they need it by next Friday.. nd was telling me they thought they could pop out my insert and install one with an alarm for a alarm clock in their bedroom, LOL.. Boy.. so this person is searching for a clock.. as i told them I've never seen a smaller clock with alarm.. They then show me some plastic motorcycle clock on amazon that had a clock in the wheel.. kind of like the one they bought from me.. however the clock is like a 4" clock insert.. that they was thinking about buying and putting it in place of the 1-7/16  clock that I had put in.. LOL... Oh Boy.. so now I'm teaching my customer via email how to measure the clocks... and that the clock they was going to use is bigger than the whole motorcycle clock they just bought, LOL

Now they say they found another one on eBay that is a 2" clock.. but they don't know if it's 2 inch mounting or what.. I've never seen one with an alarm.. other than there used to be a digital clock with alarm that was for the 1-3/8 hole like the clocks I use.. but I can't seem to find any now..

If anyone knows of anything.. let me know.. I'm afraid I going to mail this person a piece that they aren't going to be able to use with the clock they purchase. LOL

kevin the only ones I know of are from China. 55mm and 63mm I have the 2-3/4" inserts http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Alarm-Insert-Clock_12257416.html?spm=a2700.details.maylikehoz.2.30167fa4Bbs26g

The back of the clock needs to be open to hear it and I bet they are not very loud being that small. The only alarm clocks I ever made used the motor and dials.

Thanks JT, I contacted the company I get my clocks from and they said that there was a company in Australia that has a 57mm.. she said the all the smaller clocks have issues with the alarm being accurate.. they are + or - 10 min.. on the alarm function.. and people don't like them because of that.. also hard to design so the alarm functions can be set and turned off etc..

Years ago klockit and a few others I think had a digital clock 1-7/16 with buttons on the front.. I was pretty sure it had alarm function. much like the old digital watches back in the day.. so I was hopeful for that..

It was not alarmed. Just digital. At least the ones I have.

I think they just chimed on the hour

Klock Kit has a put together clock kits in various stages of kits from a clock and go buy the wood and make the clock, to precut and clock to assembled clock. I remember they had grandfather clocks and one that caught my eye was a schoolhouse clock with glass door and chime on the hour. I was in college so I was looking for my next dollar for food and never built it. RJF

Yep still got them. Just would have to cut a wood clock plate to tit the insert and put the mechanics behind the plate. Scroll clocks could also be made by cutting the hole in the back and leave wood for the face.

Chime https://www.klockit.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=chime#1

Numbers and face but really who isn't going to scroll these? https://www.klockit.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=chime#3

I'll be darn, they still have the School House Clock   https://www.klockit.com/mission-mantel-clock-kit-1.html

I guess my question was misunderstood... A customer from my website bought this clock ( photo below ) from me and said they wanted to take the clock insert I put in it out and they plan to replace it with a insert with an alarm.. They was going to put it on a night stand next to their bed and use it for their alarm clock.. Problem is.. they do not make a insert with a 1-3/8" mounting hole.. I was willing to modify my design some... BUT.. I'm not going all out modifying it to make a 2.5" + clock in it so they can have an alarm without adding a to the price.. They was determined to find a clock.. and kept showing me clocks that'd work.. yet they are showing me big clocks.. LOL.. I was asking if anyone knew of a small insert that has a alarm feature.. not a chime.. as that's be waking them up every hour.. LOL  I might have finally got through the customers head that not all clocks mount in the same size hole..

Now my issue is they aren't responding to me about whether they still want their order or not.. as I cannot make it as an alarm clock like they wanted... yet they need it by Friday for a anniversary gift, LOL..
