Pattern by Steve Good

Steve did this awhile ago.  I had to try it so I used a 3/8” piece of cherry.   Took several hours but I’m not sure of total time.  I liked it so much I hung it on my dining room wall.  It’s about 11x14.

Wow  that Is a beautiful piece. You deserve to pat yourself on the back. That should sell at a craft show, should you wish to present some of them in one.

Its just one hole, one cut at a time.

You have done a beautiful job of cutting a nice pattern. The wood is also very nice. Where do you find Cherry that wide. Or is it a veneer on plywood? Sure looks great.

Thanks everyone.  The piece is about 3/8” solid cherry.  My brother cut me a huge piece of  a log a couple years ago.  I still have several pieces left.  You just have to find the right project for it.
