Vector01
Thinking back when I set up my new DeWalt, I remembered an issue I had that I thought would be a bit funny. Squaring the blade on the DeWalt (mine anyway) I found that I needed to not only adjust the setscrews in the holders but also adjust the table to get the blade square (90 degrees to the table). The issue came when I needed to tilt the table. I tilted one way then the other and still couldn't get it right. I actually had a severe brain fade I couldn't for the life of me visualize in which direction to tilt the table In desperation I stopped and actually created a diagram of the blade gap(s) using MS Picture It After studying the diagram it sunk in This was not rocket science, I just couldn't get it
Hawaiilad
This really makes a difference in cutting as most of know, but it's good to bring up again. I set up the saw to cut some puzzles the other day and no matter what I did, the pieces were not being cut straight...I looked and the table showed it was on the proper mark...after two puzzles having to be re-cut, I found out the table was not straight...the factory mark was wrong...
