Popular Post Retired Scroller
IMG_4332.MOV Among things I have to do, I find time to do some scrolling projects. The Chalet box I worked on through the winter. Highly detailed, I had to back off at times and re-focus doing other things.I adde I'm in the process of restoration of a Model T, also. The clock is a nice addition to my garage workshop. spotsdad, amazingkevin, jbrowning and 10 others 12

Scrappile
The clock is awesome. I love the use of what looks like a piece of tape measure for the pendulum. Genius. I have that clock about 1/2 cut out. Put it aside for a while to work other things. I have been trying to change the pattern so the scroller looks like an old bearded man,,,, like me. That Chalet Box is really beautiful. Masterpiece. Edited March 25, 2019 by Scrappile

heppnerguy
I love your chalet and the awesome fret work in it. I know this one took a lot of your time to create. It is items like this one that brings the awes and oohs from all that see it. Is this pattern out there somewhere to purchase? Looks like a super challenge for anyone the loves fret work. Scrappile
Here Dick, @heppnerguy, I took a guess and I was right http://www.finescrollsaw.com/chalet-box.htm @Retired Scroller, you should send some pictures of you Chalet to Pedro for him to post on his site. There are very few of his projects represented that were done by U.S. people. Edited March 26, 2019 by Scrappile
Rob
Well I liked the clock but then I scrolled down.... Oooh I love that chalet box! Beautifully cut and looks stunning lit up. You really should send Pedro a picture, none of the others show it with lighting added. Well done! Rob

Retired Scroller
I will send a pic of the Chalet box to Pedro. Wow, he has so many projects to choose from. Still deciding on the next one. I've got my T project to complete also. The Chalet Box pattern is from Pedro at www.finescrollsaw.com. His business is in Spain and he offers the best patterns I have seen. You won't find much assembly data, but that makes it more interesting. Kind of like a puzzle. I had to reference completed Chalet Box projects for reference. The clock pattern is from Berry Baskets.com and there is a variety of clock face patterns to choose from.
