Popular Post fisch2481
These are characters from the TV show Futurama and Star Trek (as seen on futurama). The finished piece measures 15”x19” and consists of multiple layers that establish depth. The characters are all natural wood, no paints or stains used for them; I used ebony, wenge, yellow-heart, saeple, maple, oak and bloodwood. The frame is made of cherry, circuit boards and epoxy, the “tanning” room (based off my own illustration whoop-whoop) is made of airbrushed oak, stained glass, padauk, maple and walnut. This took a little over 100 hours to complete. Iguanadon
Beautiful work. You're a better man than me... My impatience would kick in about 40 minutes into it. Seriously, I tip my hat to all of you true wood working artists. Edited March 28, 2019 by Iguanadon meflick

Thanks Iggy - I owe you a debt of gratitude for sharing your insight when I was purchasing my saw. If it wasn't for you, I may have purchased a different one and ended with an inferior results. The power of kindness goes a long way - Thank you
