new2woodwrk Posted March 29, 2019 Report Posted March 29, 2019 I use food dyes and some color dyes to color my puzzles because i've found if I use paint, the pieces won't fit after they've been painted. I'm now in need of a white recommendation if anyone has used any of dyes with success. I don't seem to have any, and before I order some "brightener/white wash" thought I'd see if anyone has any recommendations. Thanks as always in advance. OCtoolguy 1 Quote

JTTHECLOCKMAN Posted March 30, 2019 Report Posted March 30, 2019 Aspen is a white wood. Holly is another choice. Bleach will not turn a wood white unless it is white to start with. Trans tint dyes are the purest dyes possible for wood that I know of. Costly though. Dave Monk and new2woodwrk 2 Quote
teachnlearn Posted March 30, 2019 Report Posted March 30, 2019 An odd choice but would be multiple colors, countertop veneer. RJF new2woodwrk 1 Quote
