John B Posted April 2, 2019 Report Posted April 2, 2019 Picked up 2 litres of Automotive acrylic gloss the other day. I have used it before and you can get an very glossy finish. It's been awhile though because the last lacquer I bought was a 20 litre drum of 30% gloss and after thinning it 50% you can see that it goes along way. I'm getting bored with it so time to spice things up a bit. I have coated 2 frames and I had forgotten how nice gloss looks. I used it a lot to top coat over acrylic paint when I used to make toys. Will post pics when I get some more stuff finished. wombatie, NC Scroller and OCtoolguy 2 1 Quote
Jim McDonald Posted April 2, 2019 Report Posted April 2, 2019 Knowing the finish you put on those toys years ago, can't wait to see the pictures. John B and OCtoolguy 1 1 Quote
JimErn Posted April 2, 2019 Report Posted April 2, 2019 Add me to the can't wait list, I would also like to know how you apply it, when you do show the final result OCtoolguy and John B 1 1 Quote

crupiea Posted April 3, 2019 Report Posted April 3, 2019 There is something to be said for the finished look of the gloss for sure. I have a couple pieces i sprayed with the gloss and it looks very nice. John B 1 Quote
