heppnerguy Posted April 2, 2019 Report Posted April 2, 2019 I am afraid that I can not help you with your saw question as I have never had one like that, but I do want to welcome you to The Village. I can assure you that you will get a lot of answers to your question as everyone is so helpful here. Be sure and look around everywhere you can, as there are a lot of things going on here. If you have any questions about anything here don't hesitate to ask. Welcome and I hope we see you post often, as that is how you will feel like a part of this family and we all can get to know each other better that way Dick heppnerguy Quote

Scrolling Steve Posted April 2, 2019 Report Posted April 2, 2019 Welcome to the Village...someone who has a Delta will be along shortly ! Quote
new2woodwrk Posted April 2, 2019 Report Posted April 2, 2019 (edited) I have this saw and I absolutely love it! I started my scrolling with a Wen (I still have it and it is still set up as an extra saw) and upgraded to the Delta - it does everything I need it to do and I'm very pleased with its functionality. Hope that helps and welcome Here's a review of it, as well as a bunch of comments: (I gave it a 4 out 5 since I don't give 5 star reviews) Edited April 2, 2019 by new2woodwrk Quote
amazingkevin Posted April 2, 2019 Report Posted April 2, 2019 Welcome George, I'm sure we have plenty of owners of the saw in question here. Someone will chime in on it for you. Quote
Scrappile Posted April 2, 2019 Report Posted April 2, 2019 Welcome to the village, you will enjoy it here, I am sure. If you do a search on Delta, I am sure you will get several hits. I was just discussed a couple weeks ago and has been several other time in the past. Quote
wombatie Posted April 3, 2019 Report Posted April 3, 2019 Welcome to the Village George. I had a Delta but that was back in 2000, I loved it but I wore it out and parts for it are no longer available so I sold it to a guy that had one that he was restoring. Any how, pull up a chair and make yourself at home. Marg Quote
LarryEA Posted April 3, 2019 Report Posted April 3, 2019 The 40-694 is a great saw. I have two and like them. A drawback is they are not a heavy duty saw. Not good for cutting thick hardwoods. Quote
JimErn Posted April 3, 2019 Report Posted April 3, 2019 Welcome to the village, the new guy has to sweep up the area by the way Quote
