jerry1939
I have been ordering BB from Sloan's for years. Excellent service and have never received a poor piece. A week & a half ago I tried ordering & got a recording that the were closed and would reopen Apr. 1st. Ordered today. I asked Rhonda if they were affected by the flooding. She said, "No, her cancer came back and the will now be open 'about' 3 days a week". jerry John B, OCtoolguy, jollyred and 3 others
heppnerguy
So sorry to hear about Rhonda having cancer. She is always so helpful and polite. I love doing business with that company. I have never had even the slightest problem with them and they always seem to have the customers needs met in the quickest manner possible. scrollingforsanity
I used to do a lot of business with Sloans, primarily 1/8 in Maple plywood for ornaments. Great service and great people. Unfortunately they could no longer get the 1/8 maple. Very sorry to hear Rhonda's cancer returned . I believe she had it in remission for several years. Hope she continues to do well. grizz OCtoolguy
OCtoolguy
I have never had the pleasure of doing business with them but I do know that cancer is the most hideous, depicable thing I can think of. It has taken so many good folks way before their time. Such a shame we can't put more resources toward finding a cure and/or a prevention. Somehow, I personally think that they will find many cures in the world of cannibis. I keep hearing about all the success stories of CBD oil and even the Feds have approved it for people who have seizures. I hope this lady is successful in her battle of the dreaded disease. barb.j.enders, stoney and scrollingforsanity
kmmcrafts
This is very sad news.. I tried to get through to order some clocks.. I buy my bigger clocks from them.. but had to go back to my other supplier because every time I called they was closed or something.. They always had the best customer service.. I'd order and like clockwork.. they'd be here in 2 days.. I always had a hard time remembering to call them to place my order.. which was one of the inconvenient things about them.. they are in a different time zone... and I'd get out to the shop and forget to order until it was too late to order.. JimErn
My prayers go out to her and her family, though I have not done business with them, their reputation is excellent and I agree, after watching cancer take Mom, it is the worst thing there is. Ray mentioned CBD oil, the stories are impressive. Not to hijack the thread, but the wife and I tried hemp oil for localized pain, ti works for us, her arthritis in her hand does not hurt her as much, and my knee loves it. Scrappile
Sorry to read about her illness. She will be in my thoughts and prayers. I have been to their site many time, have never purchased from them because I had to call and I always end up ordering on the internet. Sad, I complain no one talks to anyone anymore,,, and then I am just as bad, would rather use my fingers than my mouth... kmmcrafts
