Scrappile Posted April 3, 2019 Report Posted April 3, 2019 What do you call those old engines in Australia? I think they are referred to as "Hit and Miss" engines in my part of the world. I love to watch and listen to them. Pretty neat. John B 1 Quote

They are amazing old pieces of equipment. can run for hours on the smell of an oily rag. When I was a young bloke we had a slightly more modern engine driving the milking machine and generator for power for the house. Scrappile 1 Quote

When I was making the pattern up, the War Office had a look over my shoulder at the computer and said "You can't have that on a sign" Even though I protested that it would be hung in a blokes shed, she won. wombatie 1 Quote
