Vector01
Almost back to normal Got my saw back in the kitchen and cutting. Made this for my wife (great excuse to cut something) A free pattern from Steve Good http://www.scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.com/ Simple cut and fast setup. The wife loves to burn those scented candles. Started at 900 am today and had it cut, sanded, stained and working by 200 pm. Now she wants a clock At least I won't hear any complaints about the noise from the shop vac.
Oges
Great work on that Art. I have that on the cut list for the other half, plus the little round one that matches with it, she loves her candles also. Dont think I will have time till next year to do it though. Vector01
I don't have room for a drill press so I cut all my holes with the scroll saw. If you download that pattern be aware it's not to scale. When I cut the legs they wouldn't fit. You have to measure the cutout sections. No big deal, just trimmed them up to fit. The circles are not 1-1/2" diameter. Used a compass to redraw the circles.

DWSUDEKUM
Very nice job on that candle holder. You could also use the electric tea candles if you were concerned about catching the holder on fire. I am sure it will be well used. toolbeltman
I don't have room for a drill press so I cut all my holes with the scroll saw. Probably a bumb question...but....what stops the candles falling all the way through? Merry Christmas Doug
Oges
Probably a dumb question...but....what stops the candles falling all the way through? There is a small tray that goes underneath the top board, it has smaller holes in it to assist in getting the used candles out Refer to pattern here: http://scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.com/2 ... piece.html

Clockman
Nice job on it. I used that pattern for my boy scouts when they worked on the Carpentry merit badge. Only difference is that they used only hand tools to make it. Thye all did an outstanding job. Thanks for sharing it with us
