amazingkevin Posted December 23, 2010 Report Share Posted December 23, 2010 hello Kenny !welcome to the village.were glad to have you and need you as much as you need us.Were all about helping each other whether it's scroll saw repair info,special pattern search's,pattern making and any number of possiable scrollsawing questions that allways come up.Were all about tips and tricks and short cuts to save you time ,aggravation and time away from scrolling your next project.I've spent 4 years useing chinese saws and had a ball doing so but they never lasted long.Grizzley tools .com have the best saw(dw788) for $500.00 delieverd tax and all.The next step up for a scroll saw is a thousand and up.chinese saws are $300 and down.You'll fit right in with your wood working expertise.Open your own gallery to save photos of your work,patterns from our pattern library and pictures of other members works you like for referance.The forum is a hot spot for needed info from members daily.It's a great place to learn how to make patterns to in the university part of it.look around ,feel at home and most of all have fun.Thanks for joining! I,ve started by working (practice) with 1/2" pine to get the feel and and try to stay on the lines. I have some beginner project I'll try next.
