What's wrong with this picture? Haste makes waste! Just want to quickly do this before going inside. Routed the wrong side. Duh!

Leave it the way it is and let everybody study it to read it. They'll all think it was meant to be that way. I think it looks cool.

I think I'll do that, just finish it and give it to him as is. Since I made the first one everyone wants one. They are freebies made from poplar from an old chest of drawers.

My worst one but an easy fix was a Christmas present for my husband, 10 Drs' Who.  Taken hours to cut while he was at work, framed and wrapped ready for Christmas Day.  Gave it to him and he loved it, then my daughter looked at it and burst out laughing, in my haste I had framed it backwards.  Instead of saying Dr Who it said ohW rD, through the center.

Isn't it great to find out that none of us is perfect? I live by the old saying "measure twice, cut once" and still manage to screw up most of the time. I forget to put my brain in gear prior to releasing the clutch on my body. I always have to do things twice. That's why everything I make costs me twice as much.

But he didn't do it because he was stupid!  😂

Neither did you. We all make mistakes. I can't tell you how many times I have screwed up over the years. I think I'm taking everything into consideration and when I go to install something, it never fits. It's never too small. I always have to cut it down. I've learned how to hide my screw ups.
