Vector01
I thought I would make a list of some of the tools needed for all the new DeWalt 788 owners out there. I will go out on a limb and say these will also work on the 20" Delta 40-690 clone, but I'm not sure. "Tork" screwdrivers...T20, T25 and T27. T20 for the two screws that hold the blower assembly. T25 for the screws in the blade holders, link assembly and switch cover. I havn't removed the switch cover so I'm not sure what size the screws under the cover are (tension lever, etc.). Sockets...7mm and 10mm. 7mm for the nuts on the blade holders and link assembly. 10mm for the nuts on the side covers and table pivot pin assembly. I would suggest a straight wall 7mm socket. I tried a short tapered 7mm socket and it would'nt fit square on the nuts in the drive arm/link holes. Hex wrench...3mm. 3mm for the blade set screws. You can get most of these tools from Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. Happy New Years

Vector01
Yep...Type 1's were made in Canada. That's when quality control was important.
