I told one girl she was too young to know what I was talking about. I was describing the fasteners we used to use when storm windows came out and were replaced with screen windows. I needed the fasteners that held the frames in. She finally asked another young fella (46 yo) what they were. He actually knew what they were. So this is what I used them for. ( those metal pieces look like a hand with the middle finger sticking up, ) What a great idea.. for holding the sandpaper.. I really like that.. I might make me one.. except it'd always be flipping me the bird.. but I have several people I'd like to make them for anyway.. Maybe the younger folks will know what they are if you say the metal bird flippers... I think they have an emoji for that.. so you can text them a picture.. Okay I better get out of here... having too much fun with this one.. I bet whoever designed these did it by accident.. they was just mad at their boss..
