Popular Post John B Posted May 31, 2019 Popular Post Report Share Posted May 31, 2019 I have just finished these few puzzles. The tray puzzles are cut from 6mm (1/4") mdf with a 3mm tray. I paint them with acrylic house paints and then 2 coats of clear gloss lacquer. I used an FDUR #3. I like the gaps a little wide on these as they are for small kids and I paint the edges of each piece. The standing puzzles are about 28mm thick (Just over an inch) I cut these on my DeWalt using an Olson PG #7 for the outside and an Olson PG #5 for the inside cuts. The eye are super glued into shallow holes drilled with the appropriate sized forstner bit. They are polished with 2 coats of gloss lacquer sanded between with 360g Scrappile, RabidAlien, Loskoppie and 11 others 14 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I must of liked them when I saw them because I have about a 1/2 dozen packets of 50 mixed colours 15mm.
