baggetta Posted June 15, 2019 Report Share Posted June 15, 2019 Gene Autry Round Up Guitar Table Sign Pattern If you're an old timer like me you will remember the name Gene Autry -- the western hero for many of us kids at the time. I was inspired by his playing of the guitar to take up the instrument and a couple of month ago I found one of his old Round Up guitars which were sold by Montgomery Ward (another old name from the past). So I decided to come up with this nice little sign. I cut it from spalted maple and the top layer of the base is also splated maple with a lot of chips in it, so I decided to stress the whole base. The only tricky part is cutting out the name letters without botching them up.
