Thank you Jim... No I never thought about drilling the wheels.. I just cut them on the scroll saw.. LOL.. I should have thought that though a little better.. might have been easier and quicker to drill them.. LOL No probably not by the time it takes to set up the drill press etc.. These cut pretty quick..

Hudson River Rick
Great job on the patterns Jim, and Kevin, your cutting is outstanding. Are the patterns available for general use? I would like to cut them without the clocks....I have never had any luck selling clocks. Thanks for sharing. JimErn

Kevin, Was you able to get permission to use Dodge & Dart on your clock . I deleted most of my GUITARS off of Etsy because of copyright issues! What goes around comes around. I deleted most of my GUITARS off of Etsy because of copyright issues! Neither of these was ordered from etsy... But no I haven't got permission for the names either... still could list them as long as I don't use the name "Dodge" I doubt the name Dart is trademarked.. it may be.. I haven't looked.. But there are so many things called Dart that it would get lost in the search anyway.. such as Dart games etc.. Now Dodge is probably a different story.. I wouldn't have taken the guitars off unless Etsy said something to you or took them down for you, LOL.. I might have changed the wording in the title and description or at least kept them until they sold out.. You can get creative with listings titles etc. to help avoid conflict.. My car clocks could be listed as Muscle Car, vintage style car, old car, antique car etc etc.. clock.. without having the car make and model involved.. I just run with it for what it is though.. until etsy takes it down.. then I sometimes relist it without the make / model.. Etsy isn't my only business livelihood.. if they shut me down.. I won't die, LOL That's why I sell on 4 different online sites.. Etsy makes up about 60% of the business though.. I'd make it tough for a couple years... but the other sites are gaining steam.. John B
Very nice Kevin. I can see why the truck would sell well. I must admit that Copyright laws are a mud hole. If I took a photo of a "Dodge Dart" that photo is mine and I can sell prints and the original. If I painted a picture of a "Dodge Dart" that painting is mine and I can sell prints and or the original. That much is true, in Australia anyhow. Now if someone asked me what the picture was of "A car" but what type of car. "I can't tell you' can you write it on the photo so I don't forget "Nope because it would infringe copyright" Keep on keeping on mate.
