Scrolling Steve
This was cut from 1/2 poplar using Pegas #3 mg blades....finished with a 50/50 mix Blo & Mineral spirits ......Tried something different and covered the backer with foil, not sure i would do that again..The picture is not as clear as i had wanted but the best i could do...Comments welcome...The piece is 11 x 7....Thanks for looking, Steve. Denny Knappen
Well done Steve. Not sure about the foil backing. Scrolling Steve
Scrappile
Nice job. I wonder what the effect would be if you wadded the foil, then flattened it out for a backer. Might give more of a water look,,,, just a suggestion. Looks nice the way it is though. Scrolling Steve

Eugene Downes
Real nice work. Here are 2 pieces where I was experimenting and painted one of the backers with a light and dark blue metallic paint and the other using just the dark blue to make it ;look like water. John B
I like it Steve. Ity's hard to get a nice picture that tells the whole story with reflective materials. I have used mirrored perspex as backing for some of my small boxes. Everybody liked the effect. (they must of as they sold pretty quick ) Scrolling Steve

JimErn
Rather than foil, I use an acrylic mirror, it cuts with scissors https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MXE417D/?coliid=I2WISXKPFMDEAC&colid=3FFU56ZXONLUZ&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it Scrolling Steve
wombatie
That is lovely. Not sure about the foil because it doesn't show up to well but the cutting and pattern are great. Marg Scrolling Steve
