Popular Post John B Posted June 28, 2019 Popular Post Report Posted June 28, 2019 I have just built a Light "Soft" box to photograph my items. Still experimenting with it. I think I need some more powerful bulbs, but so far I am pleased. I made it quite large so that (Hopefully) the largest portraits will fit. The Snail and Dinosaur are hand painted, The Blinky Bill ones are from a calendar my daughter had, I think it must be about 25 years old. The stand up puzzles are cut from 27mm pine. nebur9362, meflick, amazingkevin and 9 others 12 Quote

RabidAlien Posted June 29, 2019 Report Posted June 29, 2019 Nicely cut puzzles! You should try some brighter bulbs, as well as bulb placement, and possibly adding a light on top and/or behind. A softbox should almost eliminate shadows, forcing all eyes onto the product being displayed. What are you filtering the light through? John B 1 Quote

It works very well, I have 3 lights, both sides and top. Brighter bulbs I think are the trick. Will get some when we get back from Perth next week and have a shot. RabidAlien 1 Quote
