Roly OMG, it sounds like you are in a worse state than I am. Goodness, neither of us should be let out without supervision. OCtoolguy, Phantom Scroller and wombatie 3 Quote

meflick Posted July 14, 2019 Report Posted July 14, 2019 Brenda, I think you are in need of closer supervision as it was not that long ago you had a serious injury to your throat wasn’t it? it looks painful, I am glad it wasn’t worse and prayers said for a quick and easy full healing. I manage to do my own “oops” but so far, nothing this bad. I am usually sanding some part of my finger or hand or cutting myself it seems. Why I leave the heavy lifting with the table saw to my DH. OMG, you are so right, I'd forgotten about that. I left a pan on the stove and it was so burnt the house was full of smoke and I burnt my throat and lungs going in to turn it off. Tony wasn't home then either, perhaps I should ban him from leaving the house !! meflick and OCtoolguy 1 1 Quote

John B Posted July 18, 2019 Report Posted July 18, 2019 Nasty one Brenda, Glad it seems to be healing up OK. Quite a few years ago when I used to do archery, I made a mate a box for his bow. arrows and other bits and pieces. He lined it with a felt type material. When using Super glue to fix clamps for the arrows, it produced quite a bit of smoke. Just the other week I glued I got a few drops on my fingers and glued two of them together. I had a tube of "Debonder", I used the whole bloody tube and fingers still stuck. Hot water and perseverance finally gave me back the ability to scratch my ear Foxfold and OCtoolguy 2 Quote
Wilson142 Posted July 18, 2019 Report Posted July 18, 2019 I worked with a guy who had a cap on his front tooth fall out. He decided it would be a good fix to use CA to glue it back in until he could get in to the dentist. Worked like a charm except that not only did he firmly affix the cap but he also managed to glue his finger to the tooth. Had a time trying to fix that new problem.
