Rockytime Posted July 14, 2019 Report Posted July 14, 2019 Great looking sign! The inter-play between the numerals and letters is very nice. Can you elaborate? Wood, size, font, your design. It looks really professional. barb.j.enders 1 Quote
scrollntole Posted July 14, 2019 Report Posted July 14, 2019 (edited) Nicely done. Just had cataract surgery myself, on both eyes, and I know what you mean about being glad to getting back to scroll sawing. Look forward to seeing more of your results! wombatie Posted July 14, 2019 Report Posted July 14, 2019 That is a beauty. I love the way you 'pushed' the numbers into the letters. Marg barb.j.enders 1 Quote

The wood was just a chunk out of the old garage. I have no idea what it is. Wasn't too bad for cutting. I was originally going for the numbers in the word but didn't like the look of that so I just moved up the numbers. Didn't look very good without the backer. The dark green is the same colour is as the trim on the house. Having the surgery meant I couldn't go to work for a few days. That allowed me to spend time playing around with Inkscape! Quote
