I know that Valentines day is over a month away yet .. but

 

 

The pattern is by Steve Good. The wood is Cedar and I used Polymer clay for the flowers and the wording.

Great work, the box looks great.

I must remember to look for that polymer clay the next time im near Spotlight. Did the timber get affected at all when you had to 'cook' the clay?

A little. It darkened a shade and filled the room with the smell of roasting cedar. You need good ventilation when baking the polymer.

I just bought a craft pack of polymer baking clay from walmart for like 5 bucks. I've played with it only once, seems pretty easy to do.
