Would the designer please step up. The original pattern had a silhouette of Christ which I did not include since that made it taller than the four inch material I had. Don't know what the wood is but used a #1 Pegas MG and finished with a couple of light coats of polyurethane. Interesting how different scrollers selections can be for the same piece. Kind of strange wood as the grain was extremely close. If I bought it it had to come from Home Depot. I guess that is why it is difficult to answer "which blade to use" from a new scroller Dick heppnerguy I just find that using a #1 blade makes it rather difficult to stay on the lines and a #3 or #5 , I can still cut some pretty close fret and it is easy to stay on the lines at the same time.
