JimErn
Rolf, beautiful car, I had never seen one and seeing it made me drool. I used to race in gymkhanas, had at one time or another, an MGB, TR3, and a Sunbean tiger. OCtoolguy
GrampaJim
Rolf, Wow! Nice Car! My biggest regret in life was NOT buying an Austin Healy "bug-eye" Sprite. I was still in high school and my dad said no. I should have argued more. OCtoolguy and kmmcrafts 1

We used to ride to our Army weekend drills in it. If I'm not wrong, it had a 260 Ford engine.

Rolf
Now we are really hijacking this thread! Have you seen what the Sunbeam Tigers are selling for now. I used to autocross this but after I installed differential #7 I gave it up. There was a trailerd race prepped Buggey that gave me fits. I love the Brit cars and motorcycles. TVR was imported in the late 60's by Jack Griffith on Long island and he stuffed a 289 into it and called it a Griffith. The TVR factory eventually built the Tuscan with one of the engine choices being the HI PO ford 289. in a car that weighs 1700 lbs. JimErn
My issues with the sunbeam was with the transmission, seems it was always blowing the shifter pawl fingers and the synchro gear. course that could have my speed shifting during the race too.
