Thank you so much for cutting my pattern and I like how you adapted it to fit in a frame. Its not often I see the finished results of one of my patterns being cut, so I really appreciate you showing it

toolbeltman
Great work Glenn....I really like the framing on all of your work....how do you do that? If you don't mind me asking...thanks for sharing with us.
Eagledrum70
Exactly what would you like to know ? I will be more than glad to tell you . That frame the Humming Birds are in I did with Poplar and stained them with Ebony . Poplar don't work to good with lighter stains , but that is my opinion. I do frames out of Cedar and Oak also. Cedar looks real good with wildlife pictures , western pictures and native american pictures . I like Oak because you can stain it a wide variety of colors. If you want to know anything else just ask . Eagledrum70
toolbeltman
Thanks for the quick reply Glenn...this is probably me just being thick... but on your frames I see a white border then a dark border then the frame? I am just wondering how you do that...as you can probably tell I haven't framed any of my projects...
Eagledrum70
Well I thought about using mating like in regular pictures but I found that that is to expensive. So what I did is went to Hobby Lobby and bought black and white poster board . That is what you see around the outside of the pictures . I cut the black a little smaller than the white so you get that white reveal . Eagledrum70
