SCHOOL WHEN I CUT A PIECE OF STYROFOAM WITH A WIRE ---MAYBE LIKE SCROLLSAWING BUT I GUESS I STARTED WHEN MY FATHER IN LAW HAD A SAWAND I JUST SEEN A PATTERN OF A SEASHELL AND STARTED CUT WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT I WAS DOING 17 YEARS AGO BEFORE MY SON WAS BORN .NOW I HAVE NOT CUT IN A YEAR , PROBLEMS WITH SAW AND MONEY .I SOMETIMES TRY TO MAKE PATTERNS ---MOSTLY FAMILY MEMBERS ----SOME WORK AND SOME DON"T ------------ THANKS FOR LETTING ME BE HERE FLAMO1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm sorry to hear about your saw not working. That's pretty rough. But I'm glad you haven't lost interest. There are plenty of folks who design pattens when they don't have the opportunity to get to the saw. I have a very young family, so I'm in that boat more often than not. It won't be long before you're making sawdust of your own, though. If you have some pictures of some of your older work, I'd love to see them! Until then, jump in and have some fun! It keeps them all in one place and makes it easy for you to show off your work. You can find a tutorial here). The first post has a video showing you how to create a user album, and the second post is a written tutorial. Let me know if you run into trouble. I'm glad to help.
