JimErn
Off and on for the past couple of years someone posts a box they made to sand on, and hook a vacuum to. I knew I wanted that but there was just too little space left in the shop. Couple days ago I was cleaning up a small work table, and Eureka! I cut a flap in the table top, hinged the top, put the box under it, and hooked up the vacuum - what a difference some pegboard makes. So thanks to all that showed those sanding boxes in the past, I'm slow but I got there meflick, Dave Monk, lawson56 and 1 other 3

Scrappile
Another procrastinator that has wanted to build on for a long time, never did. Now. I hook my Fein Vac up to my powered sanders and collect the dust. Hand sanding I try to do outside, well actually I try not to do it at all...... trackman
I have mine on a three tool turn table. Really helps with the dust. OCtoolguy, Dave Monk, Wilson142 and 1 other

OCtoolguy
There is one of those near me with 3 cheapo tools attached. The guy wants $500 for it. It's been on C/L for over a year.
rustynail
The 3 way tables in my area seem to sell in the $150 range... OCtoolguy

That three turn table is neat, I've thought about building one, but then there is the floor space, nice set up, nice large shop

Please keep in mind that when I do something for the shop, jigs, whatever, All I want is something that works and do not care what it looks like. the blue mat is a yoga mat I got at a yard sale for $1 and it works really well as a shop table cover. JimErn
There is an added bonus to this configuration. I set the kerf for the pegboard to slide into 3/8 down, so now when I sand the action of the RO sander that used to push my piece to the right traveling across the table, stops at the edge and I no longer have to hold it with a death grip. Thanks Jim. I was having trouble visualizing what you described. Now it all makes sense. Great idea and it takes up no more space than before. I have had that same table for about 25 years. It has its pro's and con's. OCtoolguy
