Scrollylolly
Hi All, I was looking for a particular pattern, and stumbled into the village. Now that I've been strolling around for longer than I should have, I believe it's time to greet everyone. I have been scrolling for a number of years, having dabbled for a while in scroll saw portraits. I had some designs accepted on another forum, for memorial portraits of those who had fallen in the middle east conflict. Unfortunately some egos curbed my enthusiasm for the project. But now, I figure it's time to get back to making dust. During my sulk, my function as a scroller, has been stack cutting paper cutouts for my 'preschool teacher' wife. Sure beats getting callouses by helping with the cutting using scissors. I regularly get asked to make cuttings for the whole school, about 70 learners in total. I have cut things from memory book covers to intricate crabs. Christmas is traditionally my dustiest time. Now that's over, I have a few ideas I'd like to pursue.
