Popular Post MTCowpoke22
I made this custom order for as a going away gift for a music teacher. The backer is reclaimed barn wood and the treble clef is BB plywood. For those who aren't familiar with sheet music, it says "Scobey", which is the town the teacher was leaving. Wilson142
I'm impressed with the thinking out of the box with the barn board. Nice piece. I had to laugh, I was checking out reclaimed and weathered wood on Amazon and there was a review complaining that after this guy had cut out all the knots and rusty looking nail holes there wasn't enough wood for him to use for his project.. fredfret
Wilson 42 why would he cut the character out of the board? Removing the nails sure but cutting out the knots and nail holes. MTCowpoke22

I agree, why would one cut all the character out of it? I end up making quite a few things out of it. Rustic is the in thing here at moment. It doesn't take some work to pull out nails and find wood that isn't too rotten to use, but generally it cuts fairly easily and isn't too bad to use. heppnerguy
I have no doubt this will be loved by the music teacher and most likely will be hung in a special place where all can enjoy too. Dick heppnerguy

Takes all kinds.
