dave C
how much is a 1994 Hegner Multimax 22V worth? it needs the bellows as it is dried out OCtoolguy
Rockytime
I have no idea as the seller and buyer have to decide that. However if all it needs is a bellows that would not stop me from buying as bellows are not very expensive. Check out Hegners web site for bellows prices. OCtoolguy
I found that the price depends on what upgrades it has. A saw that old probably doesn't have any of the clamp features or the quick release of tension. I bought a 18" that was made in 1998 with all the latest stuff on it for $300. It had the stand and everything was in working order. Another thing to look for is whether or not it has the variable speed. I found that on the one I bought, it had a slow start problem. I didn't care for it so I sold it. The upgrades are very pricey so I'd say if you can get it for under $200 with a stand, it would be the most I'd pay. Rockytime
Wow Ray. He's talking about 22" saw. If it does not have the front tension release I would agree. However if it does ave it the newer blade clamp is only $35 plus shipping. Depending on condition it could easily be worth lots more. It all depends on what the buyer considers a good value. My Hawk 220vs Ultra is a fabulous saw but I've got to say it does not compete with my Hegners. OCtoolguy

To bring that saw up to what I would want could cost a ton. It is all about condition price and what's on it. If it has everything on it, I'd go up to $700. But it would have to "sing". Rockytime
I can agree on that. Everything depends on condition. OCtoolguy
Scrappile
Got a picture of it,, that would help. The billows is $44.95. Or you could buy a aquarium pump like some people do. but like said depends on condition, what upgrades it needs and your location. A couple months ago there was a much newer one, 2012, if I remember correctly, looked new, with foot switch and some blades, for $495. This is in my area, Washington state, and it was listed for several weeks., over a month, I don't know if it sold or they gave up. Scroll saw do not sell well in my neck of the woods.
