Thank you everyone for your comments and support. @Rockytime Thank you too :) and I actually use Gimp for making the pattern itself, and Inkscape after to vectorize it and get a smooth final design. I animate you to learn pattern making, because I´m not an expert with computers, and it´s easier than can seem at first thougt. I leave you here the link to the series of videos that I used to learn pattern making with Gimp (with an image of William Shatner), and animate you to do it, cause with time you can make beautiful pieces :)

I´m glad that this can help you visualize a project fron the beggining. ScrollSawing it´s absolutely amazing, and I animate you to be curious with all the techniques and usefull tricks that are around internet :)

Thank you for your comment! I´m glad you like it :) And yes, you understood correctly @heppnerguy, I made this piece for a contest, and finally won it at first place.

I too send my congratulations on not only a job well done from designing to finishing, but for winning the contest. I can not imagine you not wining with a piece like this. It is a wonderfully done project, indeed
