We were there years ago on a bus tour.  Every American, Veteran or civilian should be required to go there & see the magnitude of the Arlington Cemetery.  We were told that there are more Civil War Veterans there than from all our other wars combined, because both sides were buried there.

I cut that piece for a fellow Veteran years ago.  Instead of the emblem below the eagle's head, I put his 1st name.  I thought it was a Steve Good pattern at the time, but cannot find it now.

Putting my Google-fu to work...and I find a BUNCH of different forums/sites that mention it, one with a link to a PDF that is no longer working, and a couple of pattern books on Amazon, but nothing that has the pattern itself.  I shot an email over to the folks at The Art Factory, we'll see what they have to say about the pattern.

I was the one who posted the pattern.  Here it is again.  VET.PDF

Also, I did one for Canadian Vets.  Made a few and gave them to friends who have parents that are vets.

Jerry, you are so right. Our second son was in the Old Guard at Fort Myer, Va. He was on the burial unit that was responsible for all the military burials at Arlington Cemetery. A very tough job both in duties and also the rigid rules and regs they go through. They had to press their uniforms 3 times a day. Now, he runs a baseball park.
