Sycamore67 Posted September 20, 2019 Report Posted September 20, 2019 (edited) I have built a lot of sleds with different runners. I now use the Incra miter Sliders. They are more expensive but work great and you can adjust the fit to your miter slots. When I am done with the sled, I take the bars off and use them on another sled. With my saw and the miter sliders, I only use one of the slider bars. Note: sorry about the strange wording but spell check/autocorrect got me and I failed to see it. Rockytime Posted September 20, 2019 Report Posted September 20, 2019 Never heard of miter sliders. Sounds interesting. Where did you get them? OCtoolguy 1 Quote
Rockytime Posted September 20, 2019 Report Posted September 20, 2019 Hard to explain. Has to do with the size of the saw table. My saw is not very big so the distance to slide is short. The Delta Uni-saw table was much larger and would not needed the blade way up. I don't think I'm explaining this too well except that due to table size restrictions I have to have the blade way up. I hope I'm not just confusing the issue more. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
