weewillie
I found your site while surfing online, I currently make pens, gnome doors and muskoka(adirondac)chairs. Have done a little scrolling (mostly christmas ornaments) in the past and would like to learn more about this fascinating aspect of woodworking. I also enjoy restoring british cars. Travis
Hi willie! Welcome to the Village! Scrolling is a lot of fun. There's so many things you can do with such a simple tool, you'd be amazed. I think you'll have a lot of fun here. Lots of great and talented folks here. We have a few pen turners here as well! I haven't tried it myself, but as soon as I save enough pennies, I'm buying a lathe and trying it out! Anyway, we're glad to have you on board. I would love to see some of your work (it doesn't even have to be scrolling ). You can set up a User Gallery to show off some of your work. (you can find a tutorial here). Check out the Pattern Library too. We have lots of great scroll saw projects in there. If you have any questions, be sure to ask. Everybody's very helpful here.
