Popular Post Hudson River Rick Posted September 18, 2019 Popular Post Report Posted September 18, 2019 Hello everyone, not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I wanted to share a birthday present I just finished for a great friend, he is going to go bats. The pattern is by Gayle, the record album was dug out of the basement, I made a frame to allow me to install LED lights and mounted the record on the top. I'm am computer illiterate so I hope these pictures will be in this post. Thanks for looking. Lucky2, jollyred, Foxfold and 14 others 17 Quote

JimErn Posted September 19, 2019 Report Posted September 19, 2019 Stunning work. What blade did you use to cut it, and did you sandwich it between anything to make the cutting? Quote
daveww1 Posted September 19, 2019 Report Posted September 19, 2019 fantastic job, he'll love it Quote
Hudson River Rick Posted September 20, 2019 Author Report Posted September 20, 2019 Thank you all for the very kind remarks. I am real happy with the outcome, it just proves that even a blind squirrel gets a nut sometimes. I can't wait until Sunday to present it to him. Quote
heppnerguy Posted September 21, 2019 Report Posted September 21, 2019 Wow I like the way this project is done. It will be perfect to the Elvis fan who receives it. Nice work. Thanks for posting it so the rest of us can enjoy it also Dick heppnerguy Quote

Ron Johnson Posted October 9, 2019 Report Posted October 9, 2019 What a birthday gift!!! Very unique and well done Rick. Your friend definitely will be going bats Quote
rdatelle Posted October 9, 2019 Report Posted October 9, 2019 Very nice cutting on that. Always want to try that but have no idea on how to cut it. Quote
Hudson River Rick Posted October 9, 2019 Author Report Posted October 9, 2019 Thank you all for the support and compliments. Due to things going on in the real world, I don't get on my computer or down to my shop very often, so I have been remiss on answering your remarks. Jim...I used a PEGAS #2 and I had to slow the stroke down as far as possible to stop any melt back. I didn't sandwich the vinyl, I just Blue Taped it, but the one I am trying to do now is sandwiched between to pieces of matboard, I am a custom framer and have a bunch of scrap pieces. Thanks to all for looking. Quote
Gordster Posted October 9, 2019 Report Posted October 9, 2019 Very well done....Elvis will never die.... Quote
