I just placed an order for the issue when I saw you post this so that I can see it all and then share with Harvey but would like to get a sneak peek if possible. Just been very busy and undecided what patterns to get.. plus.. waiting to hit the lotto that I never play so maybe I could buy all the patterns.. Scott, I am pretty sure that Harvey will get his own copy since he is one of the expletive “published,” it is my understanding from comments I have seen from those who do articles or do test cuts for issues, they get a copy or copies of the magazine before anyone else. i am still waiting on my copy in the mail. Looking forward to seeing this article and the two Intarsia designs I hear are in it. Maybe today. you can also check Lowe’s and Home Depot. They carry the magazine usually. i too hope Harvey’s health is doing better. Still about a week left to take advantage of your donation to Harvey right? Need to fine time to take a look. They carry the magazine usually I've never seen the magazine at Lowes.. only place I've ever seen it locally for sale was Barns & Noble book store.. I do wish more places had it.. but I sort of think they aren't sold too well in my area anymore.. 25-30 years ago almost any store had them.. while the wife shopped I'd go check out the latest magazine.. mow days I have to settle for car / truck magazines, LOL I've been contemplating subscribing again.. was fun going through them a few weeks back searching for a specific pattern that I'd cut way back in 2010, LOL... Interesting because I know our local Lowe’s carry it - it’s where I bought it before I subscribed and I am in there enough to see it is still carried there. At one time, they used to be by the registers - easy peasy - then for a period of time, they moved all magazines over in front of the return desk which meant they were not easily seen by casual shoppers who would see something on the cover and do an impulse buy, I did that several times before I was even using the Scroll Saw. Ours has finally moved them back around by the registers. It seems like a slam dunk for them to post them. Or, they could just make a dvd available at the end of each year. Or some combination of both. They already print them, why not make a pdf available? Regarding the patterns, i wish that the special offers for "new" subscibers were offer to current subscribers. I have a two year subscription the ends next year but would love the celtic knot pattern book. Not willing to subscribe a year early to get the offer.
