Scrappile
I've tried them all and keep coming back to gluing the pattern directly to the wood. Just my preference. OzarkSawdust

Just my preference. I tried that at first...left a mess to get off. But I did use mineral spirits that sat in the shop over a year, and I've got a new bottle now. I also didn't let it set on the paper 20-30 min. like someone said, I just dabbed it on waited about a min. and started pulling. Maybe I should try it again...the right way. What works best and cleanest for you?
Scrappile
I just wipe it on, let it set about 5 seconds and pull the pattern off. Wipe the residue off with mineral spirits. Doesn't always happen this nicely but most the time... The ghost one is the pattern after cutting the picture and lifting it off with quick mineral spirits soak. What works best and cleanest for you? after you wipe, brush it on, and you start to lift the pattern, if it sticks, wait a little more and if necessary give it another touch of MS. In my experience the pattern should lift off just as easily as picking up a regular piece of paper @Scrappile Great cutting Rockytime, Scrappile, OzarkSawdust and 1 other 2
Bill WIlson
I have MS in a pump spray bottle, sort of like a Windex bottle. I spritz it on, let it set a few minutes and the pattern pulls right off. I apply a little more to the wood and wipe/scrub to get any remaining residue off. The tape was 1 1/2 - 2 yrs old so I just got a fresh roll, and I got clear shelf liner. We'll see how that works. Well from the look of those wood fibers I thought it was cheap plywood! That is definitely not normal. OzarkSawdust and OCtoolguy 1
