Ken O
I can't find it any more after 3 maple trees fell last night under the heavy snow we had!! Honestly looks like it's ok, fence is gone but shed looks like it might be ok. Was a heck of a racket, shook the house. The snow will melt today so I'll check it out when I get home. Good thing I wasn't working in there when it happened, I'd still be stuck! teachnlearn
Thank goodness you weren't under it. It sucks, but you survived to rebuild, better faster, larger, able to leap tall buildings RJF. OCtoolguy and amazingkevin
Scrappile
Early snow even for Spokane. We had a few flakes fly by this morning in the Benton City area. Earliest I have seen. Maybe an interesting winter.... OCtoolguy

Ron Johnson
That’s unfortunate Ken, what a mess. At least like you say you weren’t inside. Overgrown maples close to buildings are dangerous. I had huge maples close to my shop and took them out. Now you have some wood work to do. Ken O
I think the shed is actually ok. I'm more disapointed that those Maples are gone. They were nice shade trees. Oh well. Neighbors insurance should take care of it. They were all his trees. OCtoolguy, amazingkevin and tomsteve 2
Scrappile
Hummm, sounds like my dream, be in my shop and for some reason get stuck in there an can't get out... only access is enough room somewhere that my wife can pass dinner through..... munzieb
Glad to hear the shed is OK. Early snow is always tough on trees that still have their leaves. Is any of the lumber worth taking to the mill? Maple can have some nice grain. amazingkevin and OCtoolguy

meflick
Glad you think the shed and everything in is ok. Being stuck in the shed might not be too bad, at least you could work as you wanted without being disturbed (as long as power is still there.) amazingkevin and OCtoolguy

Where we live all we have to worry about is a tsunami. And earthquakes? I've lived through every one since 1952 with not even cracked plaster. We lived in Woodland Park at 8500 feet. Our house was in the trees. We lived in fear of the idiot across the road from us. He liked to burn his trash in an open pit on windy days. A couple of years after we moved from there, a woman ranger started a small fire to burn a "dear jane" letter and burned up 133,000 acres. Didn't get our house though. Very close.
