I’v always liked quilling and have seen others beautiful work but have never tried it (maybe one day). I like your creative idea of combining both art forms. All I can say is you have done a fabulous job designing and finishing a beautiful project. Well done Bob.

beautiful work.

I wish I had the patience and creativity  for that detailed kind of thing.  What glue is used to hold the paper strips in place?

i use aileens tacky glue for the initial assembly and then a light coat of aileens clear gel glue thinned 50% with water and lightly brushed on from the rear....i quill the piece from the back since i want the 1/4” paper to to be flat with the front....hope this helps..  ps:  love royers round top cafe!

As everyone has noted, it is indeed a beautiful piece of art you have hand crafted. The quilling adds an extra depth, dimension and color to your fairy. I have done some quilting over the years, pretty sure I still have a quilling tool or two in my workroom. Maybe one day I can add some dimension to a project. Thanks for showing.
