Tammi201 Posted October 13, 2019 Report Posted October 13, 2019 I’m cutting 1/2” and getting a lot of chattering like I have no control and I’m holding on really tight. My hand is hurting. I cutting Hickory and it says it is a soft wood. Maybe I’m just weak. Any ideas? OCtoolguy 1 Quote
dgman Posted October 13, 2019 Report Posted October 13, 2019 Hickory is an extremely hard wood. What blade are you using? If you are using a reverse tooth blade, I would change to a skip tooth blade. Also try experimenting with different size blades. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
